📣 ❄ Calling all ice lantern making volunteers! ❄ 📣

Help us make this event a memorable experience by making ice lanterns for the "Light the Way Granite Falls" event, an evening luminary walk at Memorial Park on February 13th!

The more ice lanterns we have the more magical the experience will be!
Open to people of all ages to be a part of this beautiful outdoor community event!

Step 1: Create an ice lantern of any size and shape at home. Don't know how to make an ice lantern? Visit this link for an instructional video: yeshouse.tiny.us/luminary

Step 2: Bring your ice lantern to Memorial Park anytime on or after Sunday, February 9th and place the ice lantern wherever you would like along the biking/walking trail, preferably around 20 feet apart from other ice lanterns (the trail on the Minnesota River side of the park).

Please make sure all items frozen into lanterns are biodegradable, and your ice lantern is set up to the side of the trail ensuring it is not blocking the trail itself.

Thank you, and everyone is welcome to join us on Thursday, February 13 | 6 – 8 PM
@ Memorial Park (On MN–67 just South of Granite Falls) for the "Light the Way Granite Falls" evening luminary walk!

Congratulations 🍾!
