The key to next years success!!
It is now time to book your aeration and seeding! While this has been a cool wet year that has been favorable to most lawns, We've had record rainfall that has compacted our soil which desperately needs aerating. While many customers have booked their fall seeding, a large portion still haven't. Despite a 15% increase in the cost of seed, we will honor last years pricing. We have now started performing clean up applications to all customers who have booked seeding.

Whether we are trying to establish a new lawn or maintaining an existing lawn, aeration and seeding is a huge part of a healthy lawn.
Plants need oxygen as much as they need carbon dioxide, but they need oxygen in their root areas. As people walk, play and cut the lawn with heavy equipment, they compact the soil, squeezing it together and removing spaces that oxygen normally fills. Plants use oxygen when they metabolize (break down) the sugar they store from photosynthesis. Without oxygen for this process, plants will literally starve. In addition to improving oxygen availability for plants, it also improves life for beneficial soil organisms.
Lawn Aeration and Seeding Lawn aeration allows water to filter more consistently through soil, and helps reduce problems with thatch. Keep in mind that there is no better way of preventing w**ds and crabgrass than having a thick healthy lawn. Fall aeration and seeding is the key to next years success!!
We guarantee all of our seedings as long as our customers have followed the instructions at time of seeding and will gladly perform any needed touch ups!!

Please keep an eye on our lawns. There is aggressive record setting fall armyworm attack underway. The picture is my own back lawn. I saw it starting but was too busy treating my customers to react. If you see it starting, please call ASAP. This damage was done in less than 48 hours!
