Elizabeth line and Heathrow Express Closures

🚨There will be major disruption to services across the Elizabeth line and the Heathrow Express this weekend.

Elizabeth line:
There will be no service between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow (all terminals) on
16-17 November.

On Saturday 16 November, there will be a reduced service between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington. There will be no service between Paddington and Abbey Wood/ Stratford.

On Sunday 17 November, there will be no service between Ealing Broadway and Abbey Wood/Stratford from 7:00. Trains to Shenfield will operate to/from Liverpool Street and won't serve Whitechapel.

There will also be a reduced service between Ealing Broadway and Hayes & Harlington.

Heathrow Express:

Services will not operate at all this weekend, including between terminals.

If you are travelling to Heathrow airport this weekend, we advise pre-booking your taxi transfer in advance to avoid delays!

YAY!!!! I saw this show in NYC recently and it was SO good, I’d definitely see it again.

I’m excited to see this phenomenal production featured on the brand new Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas! ⭐️

Star of the Seas is an ICON CLASS ship sailing from Port Canaveral next year and will have 7 night Caribbean itineraries alternating between the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

A SWEET SURPRISE 🤩

Our visit to Chef Dominique Ansel Bakery was even more memorable than we expected!

🥂 👑 Noticing my daughter’s birthday sash, the gentleman behind the counter proposed a special treat—a shot! 😂 More appropriately called, The Cookie Shot. This delicious dessert, with a shot glass made of freshly warmed, out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookie 🍪 and filled with cold milk 🥛, was THE PERFECT way to toast her milestone birthday.

Not only did we get to enjoy the legendary Cronut®, but the staff made my daughter’s 21st birthday extra special.
It’s these little moments that made this experience stand out. The staff’s warm hospitality truly made our visit memorable. If you’re in Soho, definitely stop by and say hello!

Recently, I finally had the chance to visit, celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. The anticipation was palpable as we joined the bustling line. Despite the bakery’s hectic pace, the staff’s kindness stood out. The staff was super friendly, even with the busy atmosphere. We admired the array of pastries and eagerly awaited our turn. As we got closer to the counter, we were thrilled to finally see the Cronut® up close and placed our order.

We were excited to try the famous Cronut®, and the buzz around the bakery didn’t disappoint!

BREAKING:

Activist investor, Elliott Management, has announced a controversial proxy fight at Southwest Airlines, announcing intentions to nominate 10 directors to the airline's 15-person board.

The move, following weeks of negotiations, bypasses the annual shareholder meeting by calling for a special meeting. Southwest, which recently held heated discussions with Elliott, expressed confidence in its current leadership and criticized Elliott's decision to proceed unilaterally. Elliott holds an 11% economic interest in Southwest. An investor must meet a 10% threshold to call a special meeting. The activist's nominees include several former airline and transportation executives, highlighting a push for experienced oversight.
