Hampton Courthouse Initiative: A Conversation This is a place for community conversations about potential uses for the Hampton Circuit Court building after the move into the new Circuit Court building.

Every community has certain values that are implicit in the group actions and belief systems. These are tenets that are coherent with the vision for the community and must be made an integral part of the strategy and plans for the future. This page is for a conversation about ideas for developing Hampton's downtown area into a tourism destination that builds upon Hampton's unique qualities and ass

ets using its history, natural resources (especially the waterfront), and the diverse arts and cultural offerings. This is a community discussion about the possible development of the old courthouse into an arts and culture center (ground floor) and possibly residential units (second floor).
