I get asked this question often with theme park vacations as there are some important planning dates that occur during the vacation planning process. Although we recommend early booking, in most cases my answer to this question is "No, you’re not too late."
We may need to have more flexibility with travel dates, resort or dining but I have made a trip happen with only a weeks notice before. Life can be unpredictable with kids, extracurricular activities, and work that sometimes it can be impossible to plan early.

When traveling to Disney property, there are a few different ways to access your plans including park tickets and lightening lanes. In my opinion, using a magic band offers ease of access all without having to take out a card to swipe during your time. This is especially helpful in large groups or when traveling with kids!
📱 While you can utilize 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 and have everything in your mobile wallet, many kids don’t have a mobile wallet so you are going to be swiping for everyone all the time.
💳If you choose to go with the 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱 given at the resort desk, you are now needing to keep track of several cards that will need to be taken out every time you use a Lightning Lane.
⭕️With the 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱, they are on your wrist and ready at all times for a quick tap as you scan in for the park and Lightning Lanes. So convenient and I am all about convenience!
