Join us in welcoming Cycle North Carolina riders to beautiful Harnett County this Thursday, Oct. 10! We’re excited to have you experience our scenic landscapes, friendly communities, and everything our area has to offer. Enjoy the ride! 🚴‍♂️☀️🌳

Cycle North Carolina will be stopping in the Town of Angier this Thursday, 10/10/24!

Cycle North Carolina will begin an all-new route for the 2024 “Mountains to Coast” tour of scenic North Carolina. This is the 25th anniversary of the first Mountains to Coast Ride held back in 1999. This year’s event is scheduled for a Lenoir to Ocean Isle Beach trek from October 6th to October 12th.

Roughly 900 cyclists will ride into the Town of Angier Thursday morning around 10:00, where they will rest and have lunch at Depot Square, with food trucks from Redneck BBQ Lab Taco Truck and Morty's Hotdogs, as well as a live band. Volunteers will also be providing waters and refreshments for the cyclists.

This year’s group of cyclists represent 42 states, plus the District of Columbia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The youngest cyclist to ride for the entire week is 10 years old, while the oldest participant is 87 years old!

The Town of Angier is so excited to host these cyclists and show them our beautiful, historic town! The Angier Museum and Mary and Marvin Johnson Gourd Museum will both be open for cyclists and spectators.
