Summer Roadtrip (no-screens) Mom Hack: create an “Are we there yet?” Bucket for when you want your kids to take a tech break or would rather have less non-screen activities during this summer’s road trip!
My family and I are going on a few this summer and I came across the idea of a road trip activity binder but decided to jazz things up a bit and add in some fun things to go with it! All items purchased at the Dollar Store or Kroger and all under $25 total! Included in this fun kit (also purchased from Dollar Tree) are:
-binder of fun free printable road trip game/activities found online
-new library books for my son to read
-small dry erase board and markers
-new coloring & doodling book
-small box with cheap Lego kit to build
-twistable crayons
-Hot wheels storage box for a few new cars
-Cards for games
-post-its for drawings
-Restickable board game
-Road trip Bingo (found at Target $ bins)
The possibilities are endless and depending on your child’s age, you could stack it with all sorts of other fun items, including fun road trip snacks if you wish!
