Well rental season is upon us and we are 99.9% done! We have a few more decorations to find and hang.

The Tipsy Turtle has had a major face lift this off season that included New decking, railings, on all 3 decks, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and appliances, 4 bathroom remodels, new paint throughout, new flooring throughout, new TVs, some new furnishings, new bedding, new wood blinds, and I’m sure we are missing some other details.

We can’t wait to sit back and enjoy some summer beach time!

Donna and I bought Treasure Chest about a year ago. We were already committed to the rental season and did not have enough time to do what we wanted to with the house, so we put a couple bandaids on and let it ride for the 2021 rental season knowing the house had way more potential.

It’s now time to make this house an awesome rental home and make it our own,so with all changes comes the new house name.

We have major renovations on going this off season, that will make this house what it should be.

New kitchen cabinets and granite countertops, 4 new bathrooms, all new paint, all new flooring, new deck and railings and stair case, plus we already added a dumb waiter to get all your food and luggage to the third floor! Plus I’m sure there will be some new decorations and soft goods to tie it all together.

Unfortunately we have to make the house ugly before it gets better so stay tuned for some new pics of the renovations.

Travel safe!

We have had A LOT of rain on the Outer Banks over the past few days... and while NC12 is still open and passable, there are many areas of standing rainwater between the Basnight Bridge and Hatteras, as well as on Ocracoke. Please DRIVE CAREFULLY and slow down on wet pavement!
