At the lake we offer paddle board & kayaks rentals, paddle boat rental, canoe & Jon boat rentals. Private boat ramp for you to launch your boat. Great fishing on the dock! Our hammock has a spectacular view of the lake and is great for afternoon naps. Lots of fire wood for the fire pit to make S’mores. Happy Thursday! ☀️

Pardon our dust as we are working on updating the RV and revitalizing the property for our wonderful guests to enjoy.

Here are some updates on what we’ve been up to this past week:

• Degreased, pressure washed and stained the deck.
• Pressure washed the outside of the RV and sealed the roof.
• Laid rock in the driveway and near the boat ramp.
• Organized the tiny house and storage.
• Pressure washed the patio stones by the fire pit.
• Painted both bathrooms walls white. Plan to paint all the walls inside white to brighten up the inside.
• Added new decor.
• Replaced the jackknife couch in the living room with a real couch.
• Extended aluminum dock another 8 feet to bring the dock to 180 feet, added a new bench and additional rack for paddle boards & kayaks.

Next on our list:

• Build a outdoor shower by the tiny house.
• Lay drip lines in the flower beds.
• Landscaping around the property: lay wood chips, prune fruit trees, plant flowers & trees and add a herb garden in old tub for guests.
• Move hammock for better view.
• Paint outside of tiny house.
• Install washer & dryer in tiny house for guests.
• Design & install French drain and courtyard.
• Add new sand on the beach.

3 years ago today was the start of our Airbnb/VRBO lake property. The main camper was used as our temporary home in North Carolina where we lived in it as a family of four for a year and then moved it down to Florida to start this father/daughters business. Over the years, we have put a lot of love into this place, especially our father Don Sidbury. He has worked tirelessly planning, building and ensuring our guests have a wonderful experience at the lake. The property started as a blank slate and has come such a long way.

Updates:
• new sandy beach laid
• raised baby ducks, now fully grown
• extension to the dock/boat lift
• beautiful new deck built with lots of seating
• roof over deck
• new grill/smoker
• outdoor fire pit & firewood stack
• gravel parking area
• new gorgeous plants & trees
• new smart TVs in each room
• gravel & stone walkway around deck
• additional rentals: Jon boat, canoe, ski boat with experiences driver and more paddle boards & kayaks
• second camper (temporary) that sleeps 4-6, for those who want family or friends to visit safely
• tiny house which will house a bed, laundry room & full bathroom (under construction)

••coming soon: painting walls & trim inside the main camper and replacing the living room couch & dinette.
