Happy Hermit Day ... If the shell fits, wear it!

🐚 If ever there was a day to crawl into your shell, talk to no one and act like a hermit crab, today is that day. Today is Hermit Day: day to spend quietly in seclusion, all by yourself. 🐚 There are both terrestrial and aquatic hermit crabs. Both types breathe using gills. Aquatic hermit crabs get their oxygen from the water, while land hermit crabs need a humid environment to keep their gills moist. (photo by Marty Gilman)

ID requirements for domestic flights are changing! Are you REAL ID ready?

Starting May 3, 2023, you’ll need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or other accepted ID, like a valid passport or U.S. military ID, to fly within the U.S. REAL ID-compliant cards generally have a star at the top. If you’re unsure, contact your state driver’s license agency on how to get a REAL ID-compliant card.

TSA won’t allow you to pass through security checkpoints at the airport if your ID doesn’t comply.

Find out if you are REAL ID ready.

On May 3, 2023, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities.
