We at Lake Chatuge Charters wanted to thank everyone for a very busy, enjoyable season on our beautiful Lake Chatuge! Meeting people, for us, is just as rewarding as being out on the lake. We are storing the boat for the approaching winter and look forward to seeing you all in the coming year. Thanks again for everything.

Happy Labor Day everyone! Yesterday, we had the pleasure of a charter with a fantastic group of people! Though the lake was somewhat busy, one of our favorite swimming spots was open. After showing all the local sights, we then arrived there for a refreshing dip. Afterwards, we arrived safely back at the dock. Fantastic day and 'thank you' to the group from Charlotte, N.C.!

Swimming, tubing, sight-seeing and a stop at the swim park were all on the 8 hour agenda for today. Time went too fast with these folks! Had a great last minute charter today with a great group of people from my home state of Florida! Was very nice re-connecting with where I came from and speaking about my old 'haunts'. Good times they were indeed! Had a new crew member also aboard today-'Davey Jones' which is his real name! Thankfully we didn't go see his below the surface locker! Much gratitude to Cheryl, her husband Matt and their grandchild Jacob. Thank you so much for joining us today and hope to see you again in the Fall.

Had a great charter yesterday with two adventurous people who weren't afraid of a little possible weather. We experienced a little 'spritzen' which hardly wet our clothes and then all was well. Met a wonderful lady today who chartered us for a 2 hour tour. Such a pleasurable, personable person-would love to have her aboard again! The charter was a bit windy at first but the wind calmed down and we saw some beautiful sights. Come join us on the lake for your charter. Had a great day out on the lake yesterday with a fantastic couple! The 'three hour tour' was exactly that. We sailed by well known areas such as the dam and Bell Mountain as well as seeing the beautiful homes located within hidden coves. We didn't see any wildlife except Canadian Geese which was probably due to the amount of boat traffic on the water.

Memorial Day and 'thank you' to everyone who kept this great country free!
On another note-my wife and I went to the HIR Gastro Lounge yesterday for dinner. We had the coconut shrimp and the ahi tuna entrees. The food was off the charts! We met the owners and told them we loved their food, the ambiance of their establishment and also their pricing. A 'must go to' place for dinner if you ask me. Totally unique. Be safe out on the water!

Had another charter today for 3 hrs and unlike Gilligan, we made it back to the dock! Hardly anyone was on the lake and we had it mostly to ourselves. For this tour, we made it up to Philadelphia Church Cove as well as sailing by Boundary Waters Marina area and the southern portion of this beautiful lake. Spectacular views with just a singular passenger who just enjoyed seeing our lake for this first time. Come join us for your personal charter. Well initially the weatherman said there would be rain today but that was not the case at all! Had a beautiful charter with wonderful people from Vero Beach, Florida. We practically had the lake to ourselves! They were amazed at the beauty that we are blessed to enjoy every day. Come share a charter with us. Our charters are the least expensive on the lake-$225 for the first 2 hours (we didn't raise our prices from last year)(1-6 people) and each additional hour is charged at only $75. Well today we took out a friend and cruised the lake for a few hours. Was a little cool but was very nice being on the lake again. Warmer weather to come. Even though gas prices have gone through the roof, we are still keeping last year's prices the same. We feel everyone deserves to be able to go out on this beautiful waterway. Shared for our friends at Imagination Place-Good evening everyone! As promised, the all western red cedar planter box is complete and ready to grace someone's home. The piece measures 40" long by 20" wide by 17 1/2" tall. It sits on legs approximately 1/2" off the ground. There are spaces inside the box between the slats for drainage. This design also has lift handles on the ends for easy carry. After this one sells, we will take orders for others. Stay safe and dry and thanks for viewing!

As a start up business, we have surpassed our expectations and have YOU to thank for it! We will continue to evolve and offer the best service to our customers. For the next season, we are planning to expand our fleet and offer a larger boat for bigger groups. We plan on keeping our fees where they are-the lowest on the lake! VERY WELCOME NEWS! Today we were informed our much awaited coil has arrived and will be installed this Wednesday. With this news, we will be available for charters starting this Friday! Our pricing has not changed and remember, we are the least expensive on the lake! Our fee is $225 for the first two hours for up to six people with each additional hour billed at $75.00. Your charter provides free water, your choice of soda and either a 12pk of your choice of beer or your choice of a bottle of wine.
