Dennis is a veteran in the fields of home improvement and custom trim carpentry. With 40+ years of experience, Dennis is committed to providing quality service at a fair price. Dennis received most of his training during his 20 years of service in the U.S. After an honorable discharge with the rank of Master Sergeant, he returned to civilian life and rejoined the Carpenters’ Uni
on, where he had been working prior to his enlistment. Dennis went on to work as an independent contractor; and in 1997, he formed DB Contracting, which in 2007, evolved into Room To Grow, Inc. During this time, Dennis has worked in both the commercial and high-end residential arenas for such clients as SONY Music Studios, Rosie O’Donnell and Tommy Mattola. Fully licensed and insured, Dennis continues to work throughout the tri-state area, growing the business with his wife, Linda, and their children Caroline (public relations) and Christian (carpenter’s apprentice). Linda has been an Executive Administration Professional for 35 years, having worked for such prestigious companies as IBM Corporation and Snapple Beverage Group. Linda was first introduced to the real estate industry by her mother, a licensed broker in NY, when she would accompany her on site visits and learn about positive selling points, such as staging and interior design. In later years, Linda worked for two building contractors, Landmark Homes and William A. Kelly and Company, which is where she and Dennis met 20 years ago. It was in these positions that Linda learned about contracting, licensing, and the “nuts and bolts” of the home improvement industry.
