Recently, a fun memory popped up that reminded me of the power of having something to look forward to. Back in June 2017, we booked a December trip to Walt Disney World. Just two months later, Hurricane Harvey hit, and we were forced out of our home for six long months. Dealing with insurance claims and renovations was exhausting, but knowing that Christmas at Disney was on the horizon kept our spirits up. Sometimes, it's those little reminders of joy that help us push through the toughest times.
