This 28,000 square-foot, four-story historic home was completed in 1895 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as recorded as a Texas Historical Landmark since 1967.

Something to point out to the kiddos while staying at The Cove House is the tide fluctuations. Somedays when the tide is low (like in this photo) you can see all of the ocean critters swimming and crawling about on the ocean floor!
