It is with such a heavy heart that we say good bye to Robbie Coltrane, Hagrid. While he may not be with us he will always live on the screen, and now he's immortalized at Universal with the Hagrids motorbike adventure ride. A favorite one from my recent trip to Universal Orlando. Good bye old friend, thank you for the fabulous adventures, love, and for always believing in the magic.

Sandals, oh so many to choose from when it come to these luxury resorts. There are 16 of them, with a new one coming next year, and they are across 7 different countries. Disneyland does one of the coolest things amongst the parks by changing some of there rides with the added joys of the holidays. The haunted mansion for example during the season of Halloween to Christmas will be set up to include Jack Skellington and the gang. One of my favorite movies is the nightmare before Christmas and it's so nice to know during certain times of the year I can go and experience my favorites. Do you have a favorite Disney movie?

Cruising is a blast and so is Disney of course, combining them makes for a fantastic vacation. Add in Halloween and I don't know that it can get any more enticing. From Sept to Oct each year there are special sailings for Halloween on the High Seas where you can enjoy a likeness of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on a Disney Cruise. Spellbinding magic makes for a fantastic family vacation!

Changing up the Halloween post a bit today to talk about some other exciting news! The Walt Disney company was founded almost 100 years ago. So Disney has announced that they will be celebrating Disney 100 all around the world next year with the star of the show being Disney Land. The celebration will start January 27th 2023. Now is a great time to reach out to start talking about planning a trip to Disney Land to experience this once in a lifetime event! Let me help with the stress of planning, free of charge.

Hocus Pocus 2 is out and it's wonderful! But did you know you can also see the Sanderson Sisters at Disney World, at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Join them and some other favorite Disney villains as they cast a spell on you and the whole magic kingdom.

Just like Disney World, Disney Land has its own Halloween event. This one is called The Oogie Boogie Bash. It's a separately ticketed event that gets you into the park at 3:00 the party starts at 6:00 and goes till 11:00. A great family event wear costumes are welcomed, treats are had, and fun and magic is all around. If this interest in this it sells out very quickly so let's start talking about your trip for next year.

Are you a fan of being scared? If so Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando is a must do at some point in you life. Select nights from Sept to Oct you can get a separate ticket that gets you into one of the best Halloween events in the world. It starts at 6:30pm and goes till 2:00 am. You can try your hand at 10 different haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and 2 gore shows. This is absolutely right up my alley, how about you?

Halloween is my favorite and Disney does not disappoint! Disney World does a fantastic party select nights from Aug to oct called Mickey's not so scary Halloween party, MNSSHP for short. It's a different ticket purchase that gets you into the park at 4:00pm the party starts at 7:00 and goes till 11:00. Come dressed in your costumes, enjoy the rides, though some will close early. Trick or treat and see your favorite characters in there costumes as they perform in a fun but not scary parade followed by the not so spooky spectacular fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington. Whether your into Halloween or not working with a travel agent, like me, during dates from Aug to oct is a good idea because with these evening parties requiring extra tickets and different park closing hours it can become quite complicated. Disney doesn't disappoint, in the middle of a hurricane they still bring the magic. There are lots of fun things to do at Disney hotels and resorts, and here you can see characters enjoying a movie with the kiddos. Storms are scary but watching movies with your favorite characters can definitely help keep a stressful disappointing day from being a complete loss. By the way the characters your seeing are not forced to be there in the storm. They were given the choose to work the over time and if they took it they were given a room to stay in at the hotel so that they would be safe. This is why I love Disney so much. They know all people, guest and cast members, are well taken care of. The magic never ends there. Be safe everyone.

In light of Hurricane Ian I want to take today to talk about travel insurance. It's a great thing to have and something I can provide for you as a travel agent. If you were planning to leave today or yesterday but decided to cancel due to the storm this would cover all your cost and get you a refund. If say you went on Monday and were planning to stay through the week Disney is wonderful about helping you with any thing once your there. They could do this by giving you credits for future use, extending your trip to make up for your lost park days, and other things like that. Disney is always one to go above and beyond for their cast members and guest as safety is of course our number one concern, then comes the magic and fun. For my family and all the other people in this massive storm, your in my thoughts sending good vibes. Be safe!

It's a Small World, was my daughter's and my husband's first ever Disney ride. She started out a bit tentative as she had no idea what was coming but she quickly warmed up and got excited to see all the different moving parts and songs and colors. I'm so so glad they both got to experience it together, and watching them enjoy a favorite nostalgic ride of mine was worth every penny to me. Do you know what your first Disney ride was? Or if you have never been is there a ride you know you'd like to do first?

Ready for the reveal? Animal Kingdom is the largest park in Disney world at 300 acres. This unique park has a massive animal sanctuary inside it that is part of the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. It is 110 acres for all the animals to enjoy, that's enough to fit almost all of magic kingdom in it. You may not see Simba there, but you can certainly see thier Lion King.

Festival of the Lion King is an amazing Broadway kind of show, in disneyworlds animalkingdom, that dives into the story in a fun new way. From the amazing songs to sing along with, to the performers on stilts and intricate costumes, to fire breathers. This is a show you don't want to miss. And it's a great way to enjoy a rest off your feet from all that walking.

I love so much and it has always brought me such . But my trip so far was the one I did last year with my and my mother and sister in law. It was wonderful to see enjoy it, and it left me feeling so much closer to my new family. Nothing brings a family closer together then a magical family .

Who would of thought that you could spend Christmas in the parks for less then 2,500 for a family of 4? Stay 5 nights in a castle hotel right across the street from the parks, and play 3 days with a park hopper pass in either park at Disney Land. Disney is much more affordable then people often think it is, and this isn't even as budget friendly as we can go. So who's ready to start talking about your dream vacation to a Disney park?

I know so many people who would love to see things like Moana, Zootopia, Coco, new movies that we have all loved, in the parks. And Disney is listening to these requests. A Moana river ride is already in the works in Epcot and should be open next year. And plans are coming together to incorporate more of the new movies and diversity into the parks. Who saw that Disney is officially ready to start teasing the Villains kingdom we all have been waiting for?! I am so excited for this! My favorite villain is Hades I think, but it's so hard to pick. Especially with the new movies they have been doing on the villains, and their songs always slap. Who is your favorite villain?
