Hi Everyone,

First off, I want to express my utmost gratitude to everyone I was able to plan a vacation for this past year. Trusting me to plan your magical trip means the world today and I'm so happy I was able to help. The same goes to everyone who supported my small business.

Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I will not be renewing my contract with Academy Travel this upcoming March. I may become a travel agent again in the future, but it's just not in the cards at the moment.

Once again, thank you to everyone who supported me. I am beyond blessed and so incredibly thankful.

Happy Mother's Day to every loving, beautiful mother out there. 🌸🎀 Whether you're a birth mother, adoptive mother, fur mom, or even a grieving mother, I hope and pray you have a very blessed day celebrating YOU! 😍🥰

I'm very thankful for my sweet mom. She had a major impact on my Disney journey. In fact, she even went to Walt Disney World when she was expecting me. 🤰

One of my favorite Disney memories with her is meeting Mary Poppins with her. Mary Poppins is her all time favorite Disney character, because she was able to experience seeing the original film on the big screen with her mom. ❤️

Some memories on the funnier side are when she was stuck riding Big Thunder Mountain railroad by herself when I was too impatient to get the famous Adventureland spring rolls. Another is when she had that Disney exhaustion hit and started craving a chocolate covered frozen banana at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

If anyone would like to gift their mom a Mother's Day trip to a Disney Destination, please don't hesitate to call or email me!

When you think of staying on Walt Disney World property, what's the first thing that comes to mind? 🤔

For me, it's efficiency. When I stay at a Disney Resort, I want to be able to get places quickly. For my clients who are big fans of Magic Kingom and EPCOT, I always recommend the Deluxe resorts located on the Walt Disney Monorail.

What is the Monorail you might ask? 🚅

The Walt Disney Monorail is a train-like transportation system that gives you quick and easy access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. But aside from just transportation to the parks, there are three fun and exciting, yet different, deluxe resorts that have many amenities, dining options, and activities to offer.

They are:

🎩 Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa 🎩

🌴 Disney's Polynesian Resort and Bungalows 🌴

🔶️ Disney's Contemporary Resort 🔶️

Each of these amazing resorts are unique in their own way, while still providing that Disney magic.

Here are some of my must do's at these resorts:

🎩 Explore and get lost in the beautiful 3 story lobby of the Grand Floridian

🌴 Have a late night drink at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

🔶️ Watch the Monorail go by as you grab a quick bite at Contempo Cafe

🎩 Take your little ones for a splash at the Alice in Wonderland themed aquatic play area

🌴 Watch the fireworks from the beaches of the seven seas lagoon

🔶️ Go shopping at the elaborate themed gift shops at Disney's Contemporary Resort

One of the best perks of staying on property at Walt Disney World is the variety of transportation options. 🚅

Every resort offers some form of complimentary transportation, whether it be by bus, boat, the Walt Disney Monorail, or the Disney Skyliner. 🚊 Some people don't realize that you can even double the transportation! For example, during the AEP earlier this month, my roomies and I had to find an efficient way to get from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Boardwalk Inn. So we took the Disney Skyliner all the way to EPCOT's "backdoor" entrance and then took a boat to the Boardwalk Inn. 🛥

You can always get creative with finding your way around Walt Disney World Resort. And remember, the transportation is a part of the Disney experience too! 🚌

Disney Destinations and gave us the most beautiful Encanto themed dinner tonight full of enpanadas and the famous arepas from the film! I even got to meet the girl herself, Mirabel Madrigal 🌼

It's once again !

Today's memory is one of my favorites. It's from....my honeymoon! For those who don't know, I got married back in 2021 to my sweet husband and I grew up a Disney traveler, he did not. Our honeymoon was not only my first trip without my parents, but Mikey's very first trip to Walt Disney World!

As big Star Wars fans, we had to have a date at Oga's Cantina for drinks and snacks. The Carbon Freeze, one of their non-alcoholic menu options, was a favorite between the both of us! Not to mention our bartenders gave us the most amazing experiences that only Disney cast members can offer.

There are some pretty amazing Disney dads out there. Like King Triton or Maurice, one thing that most of the Disney dads have in common is they have the best intentions towards their child(ren.)

This specific quote that comes to my mind from Fa Zhou a.k.a. Mulan's father. Even though he had some flaws, his deepest concern was for the safety of his daughter.

Have you had the opportunity to enter the grid on TRON: Lightcycle Run? This Tomorrowland attraction is now available to ride via virtual queue or individual Lightning Lanes.

Who all has seen The Super Mario Bros. Movie? I don't know about you, but I can't get that song out of my head 😂

If you've seen it more than once (like I have) you might consider taking a trip to Universal Hollywood to visit Super Nintendo World! Enter the world of Super Mario, by visiting Princess Peach's castle, eating at the delicious Toadstool Cafe, and get your engines revved up on Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge!

Who knows? You may fall in love with this vacation destination. And you know, love really makes a guy come out of his shell 😉

Who's ready for spooky season?? Well, if you are headed to Walt Disney World this fall, you can start planning early! Tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party go on sale THIS WEEK!

If you have a reservation booked at a WDW Resort from August 11-November 1, you can purchase your tickets on April 27. All other guests can purchase theirs on May 2.

Today's is in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park! Here's 3 hints...It's tall, located at the back of the park, and goes backwards! If you guessed Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, you are correct my friend!

Everest is one of Walt Disney World's most thrilling attractions. As you stroll through a small Tibetan mountain town, you will wonder upon Expedition Everest, where you will take a train ride up into the beautiful mountain...before you realize you're not alone (Insert yeti screech.)

Hi friends! I hope you're having an amazing week! It's once again 😊

When I was 4, I took my biggest trip to Disney World yet! I had been once when I was almost two (and when my mom was pregnant with me hehe) and I was so excited to explore the most magical place on earth as a wee pre-schooler!

This trip was our very first time staying on Disney property. We stayed at Disney's All Star Movies resort and my little 4 year old mind was blown away. I decided during that trip that "it's a small world" was my favorite attraction.

This picture was taken our last day before we headed out to the airport. I decided (or my mom did) to wear all of my goodies I had gotten on this amazing trip. I'm so glad my parents took me to Disney at this age, because I can still remember bits and pieces from it.

It's , my friends! And yes, I'm aware that I missed last week's post 😭 it was a crazy week last week, with a lot of amazing things going on!

Today's quote is from Princess Tiana. Tiana broke the norm as Disney's first African American princess who strongly believed in hard work. In the end, Tiana's work paid off and she was able to achieve her dream of opening her own restaurant.

Let's talk parkhopping! 😃

If you've never been to a Disney park, you might be asking yourself, "what on earth does it mean to parkhop?!" 🤔

Parkhopping is simple. It's just visiting multiple Disney theme parks in one day. Let's say you're at EPCOT for the day, but you want to catch the 10:00pm showing of Fantasmic. With the Park Hopper ticket option, you can just take the Disney Skyliner over to Disney's Hollywood Studios and scan your park ticket or MagicBand with no hassle! 🤗

In addition to the Park Hopper ticket option, there is the Park Hopper Plus ticket as well. The Park Hopper Plus ticket includes other family friendly options such as entry to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. 💦🌊

Today's must do is one of the biggest, baddest attractions Disney has ever created. That's right, it's Rise of the Resistance located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Ever wondered what it's like to.be kidnapped by the First Order and to be broken out by the Resistance? Then Rise is for you!

ROTR is full of new advanced technology that is fairly new to the American parks. Everyone I've ever spoken to has been absolutely blown away, one has even called it "life changing."

Genie+ offers an Individual Lighting Lane for this attraction ranging from $20-25 per person. But don't let that cost fool ya! There are other ways you can experience this amazing attraction, such as the standby line and after hours events. I can also give you tips on how to get the shortest wait time early in the morning!

Okay you guys...today's is a special one. One of my all time favorite vacation memories from our Aulani trip in 2017. 🌴🌺

One of the amazing spots you can visit on the island of Oahu is a little place called Kualoa Ranch. There's a wide variety of excursions you can choose from such as zip lining and 4 wheeling through the foresty Hawaiian mountains. Kualoa Ranch is also the home of many filming locations such as Blue Hawaii (yes, with Elvis!), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, LOST, and...Jurrasic Park & Jurassic World. On this specific tour, we toured many movie sights and saw many set pieces!

Here's the kicker...they don't shut down the tours when they're filming. 😱

Summer of 2017 happened to be when Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom was filming here at good old Kualoa Ranch. 🦖

We snapped a photo with the iconic tree branch from the original film and waited as other tour guest snapped their pictures. We were starstruck as hair and makeup golf carts drove right past us!

As we got back onto the bus, I went into full fangirl mode as the one and only Chris Pratt pulled up next to our tour bus! What a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Guess what day it is?! It's !

Today's Must Do is a bit of a doozy, because, well...it's not currently being offered! 😳😅 BUT, it will be returning to the Magic Kingdom Park NEXT WEEK!

If you're a hard core Magic Kingdom fan, you probably already know...it's Happily Ever After! HEA is a magical spectacular full of fireworks, lights, and projections right on Cinderella's Castle. Sing along to some of your favorite Disney classics like "How Far I'll Go" from Moana, "I Can Go The Distance" from Hercules, and "When You Wish Upon A Star" from Pinocchio.

Happily Ever After makes its much anticipated return on April 3rd after a 16 month pause due to Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration.

So make close your eyes and make a wish as you reach out and find your happily ever after! 🎆✨
