One of the busiest travel times of the year are upon us. Below you will find useful tips to remember while traveling this holiday season.

1. Pack your patience. You will likely need a lot of if, but if not, it’s free and easy to pack. It doesn’t take up much space, but can make the difference between an easy or rough start to your vacation

2. Try to get seats in the front of the plane, and when you get off the plane, especially if it’s a big one-hustle!

3. Once you get off the plane, if needed, visit the first washroom that you see

4. Bring snacks and a water bottle. This will be helpful during a lengthy wait for checked baggage.

5. Expect to get baggage searched. They are searching more people than ever.

6. If you can, only bring a carry-on. It will save time, money and lots of frustration.

7. Expect delays. With weather and the sheer number of planes flying in and out this time of the year, they are inevitable.

8. Remember to enjoy-you are on vacation after all!
