ABOUT INCANTO:
Enchanted by a performance by Italian tenor Angelo Ferrari, I was inspired to open a talent agency to represent him in the US. INCANTO means "incantation" or "I enchant", and IN CANTO means "in song" thus depicting the powerful and magical effects music and song can have. Incanto Agency has already made great progress since its inception in 2012 and will continue growing as I begin
collaborating with other talented and under-represented artists. ABOUT US:
DIANA CANDIDA
President and founder Diana Candida has music in her blood; her greatgrandfather Luigi Candida sang opera (even performing in the famed Teatro San Carlo in the 1890s), her great aunt studied piano at a music conservatory in Italy, her aunt was a classical singer, and her father has the enviable ability to play several instruments by ear. Though not a professional musician herself, Diana has always been involved in music in one way or another: singing with choirs, performing in musicals, dancing (Argentine tango is her ongoing passion), and learning to play the cello, piano, and most recently guitar. Diana's business experience comes through decades of working in the corporate world as well as co-owning a boutique for several years and coordinating festivals. Incanto is a creative outlet that enables Diana to marry her enthusiasm for music and admiration of musicians’ talent with her networking skills and innate desire to make amazing performances happen. ANGELO FERRARI
Italian tenor Angelo Ferrari has been performing professionally for over 20 years, delighting audiences throughout the world. Trained in the Italian art of bel canto Angelo has specialized, to critical acclaim, in the dramatically and vocally challenging roles written by composers such as Bellini, Donizetti, and Puccini, that few tenors have undertaken successfully. Debuting as Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore with Bellas-Artes in Chihuahua when he was just 18, Angelo was one of the youngest tenors to take the professional stage. His career took off with invitations to perform with prestigious opera companies all over the world and reknown directors resulting in stellar reviews, and includes highlights such as winning first prize in the 2007 Mario Del Manaco Foundation Competition. Ferrari’s repertoire is focused primarily on opera and he has performed to critical acclaim the leading tenor role in La Boheme, La Fille du Reginment, Rigoletto, Don Pasquale, Elisir D’Amore, Amico Fritz, La Sonnambula, La Favorita, Il Trovatore, I Puritani, I Pescatori di Perle, La Traviata, etc.. He is also in great demand as a soloist for oratorios, both from the early music period as well as modern pieces such as the Missa Bosniensi world premiere. His most recent project is his new album Pasion Latina which is a collection of famous romantic melodies and showcases Angelo’s talent and versatility. Ferrari’s talent inspired Maestro Kurt Herman Wilhelm to write “Angelo will be one of the important tenors of the 21st century.”
"Everyone fears the part of Arturo due to the exposed high notes. Angelo Ferrari masterfully and fearlessly sings the high passages and legato phrases with equal power, beauty, and sensitivity."
