Rocket: Today, we heard…

Emirates is set to become the world's first Autism Certified Airline, with official certification from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) expected in the coming months.

Over 30,000 Emirates cabin crew and ground staff are currently undergoing specialised training to better address the needs of affected travellers, ensuring that at least 80% of customer-facing staff complete the dedicated programme. The training covers autism misconceptions, individual needs, and potential sensory triggers, equipping staff with the knowledge to provide tailored support.

In addition to the training, Emirates plans to introduce new services in 2025 aimed at enhancing accessibility. These include sensory guides, digital tools designed to help passengers navigate environments based on sensory factors such as sound, lighting, and smells. The airline will also offer neurodiverse sensory products, such as fidget toys, to help passengers reduce stress and maintain focus during flights.

Emirates has already achieved a Certified
Autism Centre designation for its four Dubai check-in facilities, including its hub in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. This follows Dubai Airport's recognition as the first international airport to receive the Certified Autism Centre designation in December 2023.

Disney Fantasy 2025 Dry Dock Changed Resulting in Cancellation of Multiple October/November Sailings

Today, guests booked on select Disney Fantasy’s starting with the October 20, 2025 13-night Westbound Transatlantic cruise from Southampton to Port Canaveral received an email from Disney Cruise Line stating the cruise is no longer available due to changes in the ship’s dry dock schedule. As a result, guests will received a 20% future cruise discount.

Due to unplanned change in the dry dock schedule, the following Disney Fantasy sailings have been canceled:

October 20, 2025 – 13-Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southhampton ending in Port Canaveral
November 2, 2025 – 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
November 7, 2025 – 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
November 12, 2025 – 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral

Due to this sailing’s cancellation, the current itinerary gap for the Disney Fantasy is now September 29, 2025 to November 16, 2025. We will continue to monitor for additional sailings to be added in October from Southampton as well as report back once the revised Westbound Transatlantic is announced.
