So here's the lowdown - you need to have a license with REAL ID to fly domestically, that means even a quick trip to Florida, you need to have the right driver's license. If you don't have that but you have a passport, you can use the passport and you are good. I don't want to have to take my passport with me all the time so I hopped on and made myself an appointment to update my driver's license to the REAL ID. Don't get turned away at the airport, make sure you are prepared for May 7th.
