SCAM WARNING: Several new and existing customers have reported that someone from "Windows" called them to let them know their computer is infected.

No legitimate company (who you do not have a contract with) will ever call with this type of claim.

Thankfully they contacted us and avoided paying hundreds of dollars to these scammers.

When in doubt, give us a shout!

Windows 8.1 Start button shown in leaked screenshots

To those with Windows 8 who miss the more user-friendly interface of Windows 7 or lower. Windows 8.1 may very well bring back the most used button, the "Start" button.

Though some speculate it will merely toggle the 'Metro' interface, others believe it will bring back the Start Menu.

PSA: If you are considering upgrading your computer to Windows 8, I urge you to visit a local retailer first (Staples, Best Buy) and try it out on one of the display computers.

Several customers have upgraded only to find the new version of Windows quite confusing and at times difficult to use.

As a side note, if you have Windows 7, I wouldn't suggest you upgrade to Windows 8... yet anyway.
