Beautiful baby Sophie had allllll the expressions! This is what makes the "sitter" milestone--6 to 8 months--so photogenic. Babies are so expressive and engaged at this age--and aren't yet on the go! I can't get enough of this sweetness!

These two babies are pure JOY to photograph!! Following in his big sister Eva's footsteps, gorgeous baby Ted was an absolute angel for his newborn session. And, sweet Eva......I think these big, contagious smiles speak for themselves. Between those sparkling eyes and adorable Cabbage Patch dimples, I just can't handle her cuteness!

Sisters and Cousins ❤❤ How amazing that these beautiful sisters found out they were expecting their first baby within days of each other and had due dates just over two weeks apart. Collins arrived first and cousin Ellis was born just 2 weeks and 5 days later. Fun times ahead for this sweet family!!

Sweet little Ted made my whole year when he gave me this big grin ****EXACTLY LIKE HIS SISTER, EVA, DID**** in the same pose at her newborn session almost 3 years ago. I have to say, those Wehr babies sure are photogenic! 😍

Sweet as sugar and cute as can be!! What a joy it was to see little Miss Lillian again. The outfits her momma brought reminded me of the pink monogrammed sash we tied in a bow for her newborn session. Scroll through to see newborn Lillian. 🥰

The 6-8 month milestone session is the EASIEST, most FUN session you'll do. We get to play dress up with the cutest little baby dolls and then melt over all their sweet expressions. Always a fun session for all! Also probably the most likely session (A Mini Milestone) I can squeeze in, even during busier times. If you skip a session at this age, you're missing out! When I tell you that babies are completely different at this age versus 1 year, I'm not exaggerating. This is the true baby stage. At 1, your baby will be learning and exercising independence and becoming a toddler!

In addition to Nora's teddy bear and lovey made by her aunt, her momma brought a few other special items to personalize her session. The beautiful dark plum blanket was made by her grandma. And we did a setup with daddy's firefighter gear. 🚒

I have several June sessions I want to share, even if it is July. Adorable baby Jack was almost a month old for his session so we saw his beautiful eyes a lot! He was more interested in having an all-day milk buffet and snuggling with his momma than he was doing photos. We hung in there and got all the cute photos, but he definitely made us work for them. Sweet little Winnie was so precious with baby Jack. She's going to be the best big sister!

I'm obsessed with these gorgeous babies!! Adorable baby Cooper's newborn session was perfect from start to finish. He was such a content, sleepy boy and big brother, Cohen, was a happy little guy, too.

Itty bitty, perfect little Miss Emilia ❤ She was a dream for her newborn session! Purple has been my most requested color for newborn girls this year and I'm loving it! I had some beautiful purple hydrangeas and glads in the garden that I got to incorporate.

Still catching up on session shares. Naomi and Estella welcomed a new baby sister, Margot. This beautiful family sure is sweet as can be and I'm so lucky to have had the privilege of photographing all three of their baby girls. I love that momma requested blue for her third girl. ❤ Also, in my sentimental sappiness, I had to include some "throwbacks." Naomi was 11 months when she was first promoted to big sister, and a couple months shy of 3 when her newest baby sister was born. I'm also including a photo of Caitlyn & Joey with each of the girls from their newborn sessions. ❤

Little Miss Quinn is 6 months and as beautiful as ever. I can't believe how her hair has turned so blonde! This is literally the sweetest baby age. Just look at this precious girl! I had to include a side-by-side with a photo from her newborn session in the same little baby bed. She's gotten so big!

At least what's on my screen is the sweetest little babies ever. I was so excited to meet beautiful baby Aurora after her momma's fun maternity session. She was ready for her big modeling debut and stared right back at the camera. ❤

I'm obsessed with this baby girl. And she's obsessed with her new baby brother. 😍😍She insisted on holding him, and I was happy to get some sweet photos of her in her new role as big sister. She is just 17 months, but acts so much older as she really tries to keep up with her 4-year-old twin brothers.

It's not lost on me how fortunate I am that this sweet family has made the drive from the Bloomington area twice now for their adorable boys' newborn photos. It was so precious seeing Mikey as an adoring big brother. Charlie was absolutely perfect!

Last week was full of newborns followed by my nieces staying here this week just ended, so editing days have been scarce. And just when my schedule couldn't get any fuller, I rescued a tiny, young kitten from the road in Jasper last week and have been taking care of him morning and night. FINALLY getting a break in my schedule to chain myself to my computer and edit, edit, edit! Two proof galleries out today. More from last week's sessions coming soon! ❤

Ten years ago I was photographing beautiful Bailey the summer before her senior year of high school, and now I had the privilege of getting her in front of my camera again, with her sweet little family. Such a fun couple to spend time with--both share a great sense of humor and have easygoing personalities. Adorable baby Evan is the perfect addition to their family. He was just perfect and even gave me smile after smile after smile when he was swaddled. 😍
