Great info and app

Did you know there's a Coast Guard app available? You can review safety equipment requirements for your boat, check nearby NOAA buoy information, and even report hazards, pollution, or suspicious activity. If you're operating a boat longer than 39.4 feet on inland waters, it even has a copy of the inland navigation rules which you're required to carry onboard (having a copy might be required but knowing and understanding the navigation rules is key to staying safe on the water).

The app also has the ability to provide you with your GPS coordinates or dial 911 or the USCG in an emergency!
