Today’s the day! 1900 Park Fare FINALLY opens its doors again for breakfast and dinner buffets with characters! This immensely popular Grand Floridian Resort & Spa restaurant has been closed for more than 4 years. FOUR! And it’s coming back with a new menu with old favorites (🍓hello Strawberry Soup) and a new line up of Disney friends to dine with. Greeting you while you dine will be Tiana, Cinderella, Mirabel and Aladdin at both meals. What do you think of the new character line up? We’re only 9 months away from the inaugural sailing of the newest ship in Disney’s fleet, the Disney Treasure. Of course, we have no pictures as it’s not complete yet, but let’s talk about some things we do know:

- For all of 2025 (at least) it will be a 7 night sailing departing from Port Canaveral with a choice of Eastern or Western Caribbean itineraries.

- It will NOT stop at the newest Disney private island, Lighthouse Point, but will stop at Castaway Cay on both itineraries

- It will feature so many details, elements and themes from the parks and films

- Worlds of Marvel and 1923 will join the new Plaza de Coco as the three rotational dining restaurants

Although this ship won’t take voyage until December, we can certainly get your cruise on the books! Want to dive into the adventure of a lifetime and make memories to “treasure” forever? Let’s talk about all that’s included and see if this just might be your next vacation destination!

We are all kids again when we cross under the “Storybook Circus” banner in Fantasyland. (Look down, see the peanut “shells” in the cement?) With timeless attractions, great character interactions and the Big Top Souvenirs (the best place to wait out a pop up shower) this nook of the park gives all the sweet nostalgia feels. Even if you don’t have littles in tow, do you still make a point to visit this area of the park? (And ride Dumbo for old times sake?)

Naturally, Magic Kingdom is the quintessential park for small children with areas like Storybook Circus, but all four parks have wonderful family friendly experiences too that you won’t want to miss! If you’re a seasoned traveler with little ones, share your favorite spots! If not, that's why you need me to help with the Disney planning!

This Islands of Adventure eatery inside Seuss Landing is themed from (big) top to bottom. I realize that we just wrapped up Christmas a few weeks ago, but it’s never too early to think about a Very Merrytime Cruise with Disney! By securing your holiday on the high seas now, you’ll save money, have a wider choice of staterooms, are more likely to get the dining time you want and have plenty of time to save and pay for a Christmastime vacation to remember! On a cruise, everyone can have their own kind of fun but still be very present together each day for meals, shows and relaxation.

🍍🍦🏰 Have you ever tried the famous Dole Whip at Disney Parks? This iconic pineapple treat is a must-have and can be found all over the Walt Disney World Resort. 👸💖🛳️ Cinderella said a dream is a wish your heart makes, and a sailing on the Disney Dream is real life magic!! Today marks lucky number 13 years since it sailed on its maiden voyage. The Dream makes port around several Caribbean islands, and even includes specialty sailings like 🦸🏾‍♀️🎄🎃 Marvel Day at Sea, Very Merrytime, and Halloween on the High Seas cruises. Kids will go gaga for the youth clubs and pools, and the whole family will love the Broadway-style shows each evening. ✨

🍽️🎉🍽️🎉 Over the last few years, the question that I was asked most often is, “When is the Disney Dining Plan returning?” Well, pals...the answer is...TODAY!!! There is so much to love about the dining plans, and my favorite is that it makes my Disney vacations take on an almost “all inclusive” feel. Thirty days before our trip, I know that everything has been paid for. ✌️ I don’t have to eyeball menus and stress over every item that I’m drooling over, it’s paid for! Who Does It Better? Paying a premium at both Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort has its privileges.

For guests staying at any of the Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels, the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit is included. This allows guests staying at select hotels to enjoy attractions after the park closes for another couple of hours on select nights. It also allows a second chance at the Virtual Queue for Tron Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Universal Premier Hotel guests get the Universal Express Pass Unlimited included in their stay. This pass allows guests to skip the regular line and shave a ton of time off their wait at participating attractions all day, every day from park open to close.

When selecting accommodations, there’s a lot to consider and more built into the price than you may realize. It costs nothing to price out an upgraded stay and weigh the benefits. Let me know when you’re ready to set your vacation plan in motion!

Soooo many exciting things have been shared at Disney’s biggest fan convention yesterday! The top 10 are listed below:

1. Figment meet and greet starting TODAY, September 10th at EPCOT! 💜 Can’t wait to meet that little dragon!

2. Journey of Water Inspired by Moana and new Moana meet and greet opening October 16th at EPCOT. 🌺

3. Luminous: The Symphony of Us will become EPCOT's newest nighttime spectacular starting December 5th. 🌎

4. Test Track at EPCOT will be refurbished/reimagined. 🚙

5. Zootopia show outside the Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom coming soon. 🌳

6. DinoLand USA in Disney's Animal Kingdom will become "South America" with Encanto and Indiana Jones themed attractions. 🌴

7. Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom will be getting a tavern/bar (LOVE this!). 🏴‍☠️

8. Country Bear Jamboree to be refreshed. 🐻

9. Lookout Cay will be the name of Disney's second private island at Lighthouse Point. ☀️

🎃🍬👻 If it's true that time flies when you are having fun, it travels at LIGHT SPEED during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I cannot express enough that you need to plan ahead. All of my guests attending the party this year have my full tips list, but here are the top three you should know before you go:

📍Arrive early and grab a map! Guests can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm with their party ticket.

📍Popular characters will start their meet and greets before the party begins to help alleviate long lines. Line up early for your MUST-MEET character.

📍Don't plan a sit down meal during the party. Why waste precious party time? There are party exclusive savory and sweet foods available for purchase throughout the night. Plus CANDY!

🍻💛🚢 Any BEER LOVERS thinking about setting sail with Disney? Each ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet is home to amazing pubs and venues like Keg & Compass, Crown & Fin or Pub 687 that are havens for enjoying a brew or two. It's not all characters and kids clubs; adults can enjoy the captain's share of retreats onboard too! From craft on tap to bottled and canned favorites, there's something for every beer aficionado.

🛎️🍽️Yesterday we discussed OVER-rated Walt Disney World restaurants, so now let's talk about the unsung heroes not many people consider. Steakhouse 71, Sebastian's Bistro and the Grand Floridian Cafe are fantastic resort hotel dining options that you really should consider when planning your advanced dining reservations.

Steakhouse 71 is a do not miss on almost every trip for us. I think that their cheeseburger is the best on property!

At first, it may seem inconvenient to travel to a hotel you aren't staying at for a meal. But with these three so convenient with Disney transportation and the fact that a break from the parks really does do a body good, it makes perfect sense to us seasoned travelers to dine off the beaten path now and then. What's your favorite under-rated Walt Disney World restaurant? 🚍🚆🚠

You may not agree with this list, but lately there's been some buzz about certain popular Walt Disney World restaurants not living up to the hype. 'Ohana, Be Our Guest and Chef Mickey's are all very sought after dining reservations for many of my guests, but they have had some negative press recently.

In all fairness, the post-Covid recovery in getting things back to business is still a work in progress. That said, it doesn't make it any easier to stomach when a pricey dining experience falls short.

Would you be willing to give these a try based on their history of being wonderful, must-do restaurants? Or would you steer clear until the reviews are more consistently positive?

Did you know that Disney's Coronado Springs Resort not only has amazing standard rooms with incredible views and the GORGEOUS new Gran Destino Tower but they also have suites and Club Level access? That is a HUGE standout option that none of the other moderate resorts offer. It may be time to look a little more closely at this "deluxe-lite" resort.

If you are one of my clients, I'm sure you have heard what an amazing option that I think Disney's Coronado Spring Resort is! I can't wait to visit this resort with my sweet friends at the end of September. We will be staying Club Level and enjoying everything that this beautiful resort has to offer. 📸 Here's a PRO TIP in honor of World Photography Day!

👑 I'm not sure if you know this, but there is an adorable photo studio in the Magic Kingdom that is included with the Memory Maker photo package. Inside Sir Mickey's (behind Cinderella Castle) is the Royal Portrait Studio. You might be fooled into thinking that this is just for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers, but NOPE! It's a PhotoPass experience and anyone can stop here to have their photos taken. If you've purchased Memory Maker, you're all set. If not, you'll have to purchase the photos if you want them. Just like any other PhotoPass picture, these will show up in your My Disney Experience app.

By the way, this isn't just a place to go if you are all dressed up. There are props around for fans of just about any character. It can get crowded during Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique hours, so plan accordingly! Has anyone taken photos here? Let's see them!

🎃🎄💀“What’s this? What’s this? WHAT IS THIS?!” Every year through the spooky and Christmas seasons, Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion welcomes Jack, Sally, and Oogie Boogie with The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.

If you are a fan of this movie, you will love all the details. Each room through the Mansion is decked out in its Nightmare-est finest. If you are looking for the classic Haunted Mansion features, you may be a bit disappointed as even the music and script changes.

So I ask...Disneyland Haunted Mansion overlay: YAY or NAY? Would this make a difference in when you chose to visit Disneyland?

The Walt Disney World Resort offers fishing excursions and activities for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you want to join them on a pontoon boat and take in the stunning shoreline views of Crescent Lake or head to the parks solo while they dock fish at Port Orleans Riverside or the Contemporary, everyone wins!

To be clear this is me! isn't always thrilled with the idea of a Disney vacation, but a fishing trip or a golf outing seems like a great compromise to me!
