The Phoenix Commotion is sustainable construction company dedicated to building homes for single mothers, artists, and families with low incomes. We build our homes from approximately 80% recycled and reclaimed materials using only apprentice labor.

We’re sad to let you know of the passing of Marsha Phillips, the wife of Dan Phillips and brilliant other half of the Phoenix Commotion. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, Dec 8th, at Saint Stephens Episcopal Church in Huntsville, TX.
