Some of you have wondered what is being constructed in the grass medians along 79.

I reached out to TxDot to find out. And, I learned that……

Those are NOT “anti Hippo Pit” infrastructure.

BUT, they ARE part of a safety project that will prevent crossover incidents from happening. The project will be installing cable barriers from Round Rock to Thorndale.

So, there you go. The project should finish up later next month.

Thinking of placing my hippopit.com domain name for sale. Right now it sends people over to The Orange Hippo website. It was used for the Hippo Pit google pin drop but i closed all that down after someone reported that it wasn't a real location. 😂🤣 🦛🧡
