Let's chat about passports and cruises. i.e. Do you need a passport to go on a cruise? If you take a closed-loop cruise, meaning you start and stop at a U.S. port, you can travel as a U.S. citizen without a passport to Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Should you? Absolutely not. You never think anything will happen while you're traveling and hopefully it never does, but the reality is this: If you need to get back into the U.S. any other way than the boat you left on--you'll need a passport.
