Fun facts about Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay 🌴

1. Cay is pronounced key
2. Disney doesn’t actually own the island. Disney has a lease on the island that will expire in 2096.
3. Some Disney staff actually live there to maintain the island.
3. The island is 1,000 acres but only 55 is currently used.
4. You can snorkel and find character statues in the water.
5. There is an official Bahamian post office on the island.
6. You can pack a cooler to take off of the ship for your ah-mazing beach day.
7. Disney provides beach towels on the island for your convenience, as well as cold refreshments towels and water while boarding the ship.
8. Castaway Cay is literal perfection 😍🌴💙

🚨Disney Cruise Line update! 🚨

Beginning October 14, 2022, for Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish sailings, Disney Cruise Line will no longer require Guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, however, it is highly recommended. All Guests ages 5 years and older who are not fully vaccinated (Unvaccinated Guests) will need to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 1-2 days before the sail date. Guests ages 4 years of age and younger do not require testing.
