Traveled to Savannah to photograph Samaritan's Purse volunteers helping flood victims recover from the damage caused by Tropical Storm Debby. Samaritan's Purse really impressed me with how organized and efficient they are helping others. If you are so inclined please donate so they can continue helping others in times of need.

I really love it when a storm is approaching from the south, creating deep blue dark skies, while scaring people off the beach. With the north sky still bright making the light nice and soft.

Another Charleston Classic basketball tournament in the books. Covered the Houston Cougars for the Associated Press for three days. They were the only Top 25 team in the tournament and easily won all three of their games.

I have photographed the H. L. Hunley many times over the years, but this was the first time I got into the tank that holds the worlds first attack submarine. The tank was drained for me so I could get a new book cover for legendary author Brian Hicks.
