Denali National Park, located in Alaska, is one of the most iconic and vast wilderness areas in the United States. The park spans over 6 million acres and is home to North America's highest peak, Denali, which stands at 20,310 feet (6,190 meters). This park offers a mix of boreal forests, tundra, and glaciers, providing a diverse habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.
The park is home to the "Big Five" of Alaskan wildlife: grizzly bears, wolves, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. Additionally, visitors might spot lynx, marmots, and a wide variety of birds.- The Denali Park Road is the only road in the park, extending for 92 miles. Private vehicles are only allowed on the first 15 miles; beyond that, access is via park shuttle buses.
