Exciting updates to Disney’s Genie+ coming very soon! WDW has announced that Genie+ is on its way out, to be replaced by a ⚡️Lightning Lane⚡️ system, new and improved !

Lightning Lane Multi Pass is the replacement for Genie+, and individual Lightning Lanes will be called Lightning Lane Single Pass.

With the new ⚡️Lightning Lane⚡️ system, WDW guests will now be able to:

✨ Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple days of vacation, all in a single day prior to travel.

✨ Make your Lightning Lane plans in advance of your trip by choosing your rides/experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what your plans will be !

✨WDW Resort guests get a huge and exciting advantage! If you are staying at a WDW resort, you will be able to book your Lightning Lanes 7 days out from travel, while all other guests may book them 3 days out from travel… just another GREAT reason to stay on property, and will likely make the difference in getting your priority attractions booked.

✨These changes will be implemented starting July 24! Just a few weeks away!

✨ This is an exciting change for sure (no more getting up at 7 AM each day of your trip to get on Genie+!), but it is a lot of information! I’d love to answer any questions you have and help you start planning your next amazing Disney adventure!

Hi! I'm Ellen Emery and I live in Alpharetta, Georgia with my husband and three daughters. Since my childhood I have delighted in exploring destinations around the world, having traveled extensively in the U.S., Europe, and Canada. Disney World is a place that has brought--and continues to bring!--so much joy to my family. We thought we would just go once with our daughters, but we loved it so much we've been back 5 times in 5 years! The immersive storytelling, contagious fun, and unforgettable memories that Disney World creates really are magical and I am so excited to help you craft your family's very own Disney World story!

I also enjoy traveling and planning travel to destinations all over the world: there is no better way to broaden horizons and spark imagination. Exploring Italy with my husband, marveling at the beauty of Canada's Prince Edward Island, spending six weeks in Paris, and taking our three girls to Disney are my favorite vacations to date.
