A sea day on Disney Cruise means brunch at Palo, the adult only restaurant with amazing sea views. It is an extra per person charge but the food quality is outstanding and so worth it.

Piraeus (Athens) Day was done with a local expert guide to tour the Acropolis and highlights in the city. I didn’t get any pics in the Acropolis Museum because I was so intent on listening and learning, but it is a must do stop after the Acropolis.
We loved having a local guide and driver for the three of us as opposed to the ship excursion. Greyson got more one-to-one interaction for his questions and we got through the sites much quicker.

On the Disney Dream cruising the Mediterranean this week. First stop is Naples and a visit to Pompei. Hot, hot in the summer, but still worth it.

It has been a great week at Disney! Manageable crowds, Genie+ has helped us get all of the rides in, and the two new rides Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy are Disney best rides on the property.

When in the Rose Hall area of Jamaica, a must stop is The Collective: A Jamaican Designer Marketplace that has 100% Jamaican items like jewelry, clothing, decor and more. They had wonderful items and I loved supporting local artisans and got some beautiful items for myself. The print I brought home is by the wonderful artist that did the mural in the mall.
It is located in Main Street Rose Hall, and when you are done shopping, head to the back of the mall to Scotchie’s for a rum punch and their famous jerk chicken. Bring cash as they don’t accept credit cards!

Heading out on a quick weekend cruise onboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas and it’s my first time in a suite on Royal! We splurged for our anniversary and now I’m spoiled. I love the extra space, bathtub and loungers on the balcony!
