This getaway has everything one would need for a serene retreat, offering 5 acres of privacy and uninterrupted panoramas of the desert. Large windows and sliding door allow guests to enjoy indoor/outdoor living in this retreat. The home was kept in its original exposed brick walls, restored with midcentury-modern fixtures and quirky decor. Find stylish and vintage furnishings including a wood burning fireplace in display and an original 1953 Avco American Kitchen sink and steel cabinets.

The space
Location is conveniently situated between the two entrances of JTNP approximately 15-20 minutes from each side. Opt to take the North Twentynine Palms entrance if you want to avoid crowds. Both Downtown areas offer grocery stores, restaurants, vintage stores and art shops.

Inside, interiors are defined by a midcentury aesthetic where vintage furnishings meet modern comforts and sleek amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, living room with minimalist aesthetic and wooden furnitures, smart TV, comfortable bedding and mattress, room-darkening shades, as well as walk-in shower that’s wrapped in white textured and pattern tile. The bedroom has seamless access to the outdoor patio and an expansive view of the landscape.

Outside, there are several lounge areas which offer cozy spaces to enjoy the sun or the stars. Soak in the spa while enjoying the vast mountain views; in the summer heat, relax in the claw foot tub on hot days with an ice bath or cool flower bath; have a sip of beer with friends at the mini bar; drink a glass of wine under the sun at the lounge by the spa; outdoor picnics with family and friends are a must have; have a bonfire, roast marshmallows or grill on the fire pit; enjoy the charming outdoor fireplace with a loved one; relax in the hammock to stargaze; read a book and doze off in the teepee.
