Meet Axel! This guys superpower is now matter what’s going down he’s the happiest dog on the team! And this man loves showing that energy and enthusiasm off. He’s a super team dog that can run swing to wheel and makes anybody next to him on the gangline feel on top of the world. Axel has a bit of a stiff end so got a ride home on today’s training run. But as you can see he doesn’t seem to mind AND got to partake in some human trail snacks 🤣
While Axel probably isn’t going to Nome this year (unless he’s riding in the sled 😆) this man busting full of energy and confidence is looking for his first sponsor!

Next Up: Veteran Iditarod musher, Gabe Dunham. Gabe is a born and raised Alaskan who started running sled dogs when she was about 16 years old. After heading to Oregon for college and running many races in the Lower 48, she and her team from Evermore Adventure Kennel moved back to Alaska and placed 18th in the 2024 race. We are headed to the finishers banquet! Thank you to our friends and family for the support and messages! We had a nap, showers and have been giving the dogs lots of love and extra treats! We will post more pics and respond to messages over the next few days!
