Gabriel started learning to track whales about 12 or 13 years ago. He is very in tune with them and knows where to be at the right time. The one that came straight to his kayak was so close that when it went under him he could feel the vibration as it passed below. What a day to forget his gopro 🤦
Everyone on his tour had whales beneath their kayaks. They were electric with joy when they returned to shore. I was outright jealous lol! 3/27/24

Yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. Just as our guests began to arrive this guy popped up in front of our launch site again. He came onto shore to rest after we hit the water. I know he feels safe around us for sure now. We are on a large stretch of beach but he chooses to sleep close to us regularly.❤️

While I was out with our tour yesterday, we watched as this competition pod popped up and swam past us roughly 50 feet away from our kayaks. I called the shore and had Gabriel launch his drone. This is just 30 seconds of the action we watched. They played in front of us for 20 to 30 minutes leaping and splashing. They put on a heck of a show.
As they departed, a pod of dolphins swam by us on the opposite side. They were trailing a mother and calf that were cruising by. The whales are everywhere right now. I love my life! -Jason
On Thursday, the guys had a surprise visitor waiting for them at our Olowalu launch spot. They said this little #monkseal just hung out and played in 3-4 foot of water in front of them for about 10 minutes before heading down the shoreline. I can definitely say I was so jealous when I saw the video. Speaking of jealous, they've also been seeing whales since 11/9.
