"Hey, that's a big rock over there!" "That's not a rock. That's a sea turtle." "I don't believe you." Yes, Sea turtles can look like rocks from a distance. And we should only view them from a distance, since it is illegal to disturb them. Hawaii is home to 5 breeds of sea turtles, some of which can get a big as 4 feet and several hundred pounds. So, it's no wonder, they can be confused for a giant rock. Thank goodness we can zoom in from our phones, since we can't get close. Sea Turtles can live as long as some humans up to 70 -100 years. Join our Kauai Scenic Tour for a chance to see these beautiful creatures at our final stop.
