‼️ BREAKING NEWS ‼️

If you’re an host like I am, here’s a BIG CHANGE you should know about and prepare for:

A couple of days ago, Airbnb dropped news that it’ll be changing our host cancellation fees.

Here are the highlights:

1. Preventable cancellations hurt guests, Hosts and Airbnb, that’s why they’re changing the policy.

2. If you cancel for preventable reasons, a fee will be deducted from future payouts.

3. The minimum cancellation fee is $50 USD and the maximum is $1,000 USD (it was $100) under the updated policy.

4. Cancellations for valid reasons beyond your control won’t incur fees.

Changes are set to take effect on 8/22/22 and the updated host cancellation policy will be out soon in case, again, you’re like me and you plan to sit and read it in full detail. Lol 🤓

Personally, I thinks it’s extremely important to know because anything can happen, but .co we take pride in taking care of our guests and work hard to avoid cancellations at all…. But that’s just us 🤷🏽‍♀️
