"On 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 April 2024, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 May 2024, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 June 2024 and 6, 7, 13 and 14 July 2024 for access to Venice, an access fee will be paid if you do not fall within the hypotheses that give the right to exemption from payment. The contribution is not due from 4.00 pm to 8.30 am. To acquire the exemption title it is necessary to register and acquire the relevant exemption voucher. For residents in the Municipality of Venice and those born in the Municipality of Venice, excluded from the payment, it is not necessary to acquire any exemption voucher as they can demonstrate their condition by showing a document demonstrating this situation. For minors under 14 who are excluded from paying, the condition, if not evident, can be demonstrated by showing a document. Holders of the European Disability Card (Disability Card) and their companion can benefit from the exemption by showing the card, without the need for registration on the portal, and personnel belonging to the Armed Forces and the Police Force (including police personnel). of the Fire Department) by showing the service card."

Great Review from wonderful clients of mine that went on AmaMagna, one of AmaWaterway's largest ships on the river!

Hey Deb,
The Grand Danube on Ama was fantastic. We loved Vienna and would have loved a full day instead of half a day & that's the only thing in the itinerary that I would recommend to change.
We started a couple of days early as we drove from MUC to Hohenschwangau & Neuschwanstein Castles and stayed in the village that is below the castles. The view was amazing there of
the two castles and of the Alps. We even got snow. We also began learning about the Hapsburg family as King Ludwig II was a cousin of Sissy. The story began there for us and grew each step
along the way.
We really loved Castle Grein, Melk Abbey, and the Golubac fortress. Each stop was opened early just for our Cruise and only for us at Castle Grein. Budapest was also an incredible city with it's
Parliament building. We have many great photos of it in the background. The food was amazing as it always is on Ama. The chef even made Mamaliga ,which is a Romanian Polenta dish, just for us
upon our request. The drinks were ever flowing during meals and happy hour. They never let our glasses go empty. The service was amazing as the crew members that you see regularly learn your name
and what each of us liked (drinks & meal orders). I had my sister and wife together in our cabin. It was ok but we probably should have upgraded to the largest suite....we know for next time.
we recommend watching some movies about
The Hapsburg family (Sissy) in particular as well as the history of the AustroHungarian Empire before they go. We really got interested in it while we there and there was nothing in the ship's movie library
that covered this history.

Here is another Satisfied Customer Review of their recent AmaWaterway's Europe's Rivers and Castles itinerary from Prague to Paris:

We had a wonderful cruise!
We had an incredible journey, it was a perfect vacation! It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th Anniversary!
It was much warmer than we anticipated (90+ degrees on many days).
We walked a "little" more than anticipated, a total of 71 miles per Jo's FitBit!

Our favorite cities were Paris and Prague.
The food and drink service on board the AmaCerto was excellent!
Our stateroom was great!
Our favorite land excursion from the ship was Rothenburg, Germany.
AmaWaterways did an excellent job taking care of us, feeding us, and showing us a great time!
Advice for travelers on the same itinerary: Have comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to have a lot of fun and see many amazing sights!

We are looking forward to planning another European River Cruise again next year!

Our trip was great. Thanks for all of your help getting things set up. To answer your questions:

* Did you have any favorite ports? We had been to Juneau and Skagway before, so Ketchikan was something new. I can;t say that any one of them was a favorite, but we enjoyed them all.
* What was your opinion on the food/drinks/service? The food and drinks were good, as always with Holland America. The service was excellent, as we've come to expect from them.
* How was your stateroom? The stateroom was fine. Again, it was what we've come to expect. The steward service was great.
* Did you have a favorite excursion? The Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest trip was our favorite. Mendenhall was a little bit crowded, but there were 4 ships in port that day. On the whale quest, we got into a pod of humpbacks that was bubble feeding. That was exciting to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

All in all, we had a great experience. I;ve attached a few pictures for you. Please use them if you like.

Again a very BIG THANK YOU to everyone at CHKC & AmaWaterways for a fantastic Danube River cruise.

We all thoroughly enjoyed it - my father especially. It exceeded our expectations and the quality of the boat, food, tours etc was fantastic.

The service and staff were amazing and helped ensure we had everything we needed (too much sometimes!).

And the musical entertainment on and off the boat were very good. The Classical Music theme was a big hit for us.

Thanks again to you and all at Ama. Our first river cruise, but def not our last

✈️👉👉 STARTING JANUARY 2023, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A ETIAS VISA WAIVER TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION TO FLY TO MOST OF THE COUNTRIES IN EUROPE 👈👈✈️

Citizens of all visa-exempt countries, which are outside of the European Union, will be required to make an ETIAS visa application before their trip to the Schengen Area. An ETIAS grants entry to the 26 European states in the Schengen Area. These countries have no passport checks at their mutual borders.

This will apply to all Americans starting January, 2023

Applying for an ETIAS online will be easy and fast, since it will not take more than ten minutes to complete and only requires a valid travel document.

Once granted, the ETIAS visa waiver will be valid for a period of three years and will be a multiple-entry permit, meaning that it would cover any trips within its validity period.
