Sailing to Hawaii is a great way to visit multiple islands while only unpacking once! Let us show you the Pride of American with Norwegian Cruise Line.
It’s National Ice Cream Cone Day! My family sure enjoyed our fair share of gelato in Italy! What’s your favorite flavor?
This one is a classic! A few years ago, my girls gave their review of chocolate-covered pickles in Rapid City, SD. Would you ever try this?

Each evening, there is some form of entertainment on the ship, and tonight we watched “Blue Planet: Home” in the main theater. It featured singers representing different elements of nature, and this is just a small piece of the show. I was incredibly impressed with the level of talent and am looking forward to the rest of the week.

In Santorini, we had a great lunch where we were able to throw plates and dance on the broken shards. My kids were some of the only ones who did the actual Greek dance and got a huge response from the crowd! What do you think? Did they do a good job?
The last stop of our stay in Rome was at the Colosseum. This video, taken from the second floor, shows the walkways under the main floor of the arena, where the gladiators and animals would be raised up through trap doors on a pulley system. It’s amazing to see how they accomplished so much with little technology as we know it today.
We toured the Vatican today, and this video is from the map museum. Each panel is a different area of Italy, painted in the 1580s. It was room after room of amazing artwork like this, culminating in the Sistine Chapel, where photographs are prohibited.
