We highly recommend Portland, Maine for a fun getaway! Gull's Landing was an amazing Air BNB, the host Glen, provides a detailed binder with local eats and excursion options. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, an office area, roomy kitchen and a lovely living room area. Located close to an upscale restaurant and a local bar and grill. Odyssey Whale Watching Tours is a must for a family or group of friends. You'll learn about the history of the islands surrounding Portland with getting a chance to see some whales or other sea life! Get some delicious clam chowder at Becky's or a scrumptious lobster roll or Lobby at HighRoller Lobster Company. The Victoria Mansion is also a must see, Erich is a fabulous tour guide! Book in advance tickets sell quick! Be prepared with comfy walking shoes, it's a bit hilly but worth the walk!

Sorry for the lack of posting, we've been out traveling around the Upper Peninsula! Check out some activities below! We highly recommend a trip to JamPot in Eagle Harbor for some homemade jam, jellies and sweet treats; made by the monks of Poorrock Abbey or a high speed trip around Pictured Rocks in Munising, MI by Riptide Ride! If you want to learn more about sled dogs and their Musher, check out MI Dog in Newberry, you even get to cuddle the Alaskan Husky pups!
