The City of Kearney Fireworks Celebration scheduled for tonight at Jesse James Park will be postponed to Friday July 5th. Friday night beginning at 5 pm there will be inflatable air toys, cotton candy and concessions, culminating with the Fireworks show at 9:30 pm.

Unfortunately, concert is cancelled. All other events will take place.

We look forward to seeing all of you Friday night! Friday’s weather forecast looks spectacular and there will be clear skies for fireworks. The City of Kearney appreciates your understanding.

Join us at the Kearney Farmers Market on Saturday, June 1, for a special food drive in partnership with the Kearney Food Pantry! 🍽
Our theme for the day will focus on collecting 'summer kids food' to support local children in need. The Food Pantry will have a booth and collection barrel at the market.
For each donation, you'll receive an entry into a drawing for a Kearney Farmers Market gift basket, brimming with goodies from our vendors. Help us make a difference by bringing items like cereal, pudding cups, Jello cups, ravioli, SpaghettiOs, Pop-Tarts, granola bars, peanut butter, and jelly.

The 2024 Free Concert Series season kicks off on June 1st with Arena Rock Giants, a tribute to Queen, Van Halen, Journey, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STYX, Green Day, The Foo Fighters and many more! With over 100 years of combined rock experience, this band will amaze you with their accurate and faithful recreations of the songs we all know and love. They truly have to be heard in person to believe!

What more could you ask for? A free concert under the stars with amazing musicians, reasonable concession prices in a beautiful setting! We'll see you on Saturday, June 1st at 7:00PM for Arena Rock Giants at Kearney Amphitheater! Visit Kearneymo.us for more info.
