👇Here's what you need to know:

🏞National Parks, museums, historical sites, etc. will likely close. This is not a covered reason for an insurance claim (in most cases).

✈️TSA, Air traffic control, and other essential workers will stay on the job but won't be paid until a spending bill is passed. Expect it to impact air travel over the holiday. A lot.

🚫Government employees and the military will either be furloughed or will work without pay.

👉Start looking at any travel plans that may be impacted NOW, tell people to arrive at the airport WAY early, and adjust any tight connections if you can.

Yesterday was a day of adventure for sure. Took a speed boat tour around the whole outside of the island. Started at sting ray city. Held a sting ray!! Watch men pick and throw jelly fish out of our way and got the first snorkel in for the day. Then on lunch at green island. Totally inhabited and had everything brought with us. It was fantastic. Saw the pillars of Gibraltar. Snorkeled again at cades reef. Literally the best snorkeling I have ever done. Got a history lesson of Nelson’s dockyard. And ended with rum punch on pinch in beach. It had sand that felt like walking in marshmallows and a downpour that was amazing to watch.

Today was an interesting day to say the least. Started with a ferry to Barbuda at 6:30am. Then on to learn about the island. The donkeys,goats and sheep roam free. Not a lot on roads. I definitely wore the wrong shoes! Hiked through a cave the one of the tallest points on Barbuda. 115 feet 😂 Then went to the pink sand beach. It really does have pink sand. The bird sanctuary had frigates and there were so many.
