I have been planting daffys in this spot for 25 yrs now…different daffys bloom at different times so I get to enjoy them from Feb all the way into April…😊

Still can’t quite believe it…I was out and about enjoying my peeps (and on my second drink) last Sunday when someone said you should really participate in this chile cook off…
What the heck, right?

Pulled a few things out of the freezer and got busy slicing and dicing on Sunday AM and called it Chile!

Actually winning couldn’t have been farther from my mind…😆

What a fun surprise! Lots of thanks to all the folks that voted for “Bunch of Darn Meat”…🙏❤️

Outstanding second place efffort by Amy Hinson (was my personal favorite this year) and I have to give, third place, Brad White, a shout for inspiring me with his fearless, throw in anything you like style of chile preparation that so did it for me last year! Still some of the best chile i have ever tasted!
