Where is the festival? 📍
The NC Muscadine Festival takes place at the Duplin County Events Center, 195 Fairgrounds Drive, Kenansville, NC. Gates open at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

What if it rains? 🌧️
In case of inclement weather, the festival will be moved inside the arena. Please bring your chairs even if the festival is held indoors.

How much are tickets? 🎟️
Tickets will be $25 at the gate on the day of the festival.
Military tickets are $15 (ID required) and children's tickets are $5 (ages 6-20; free for children 5 and under). Military and children’s tickets must be purchased on the day of the festival.

Can I bring my own food or drinks? 🥤
Outside food and drinks are not allowed with a general admission ticket.

What isn't allowed? 🐈
No coolers, pets (except service dogs), video equipment, concealed weapons, or projectile shooting objects.

Is smoking allowed? 🚬
Yes, there will be a designated smoking area.

The 2024 NC Muscadine Festival is hosting its Amateur Wine Making Competition, and we want to see what you've got!

📅 Entries Accepted: September 26 (8 AM - 5 PM) & September 27 (8 AM - 12 PM) 📍 Drop-Off Location: Duplin County Cooperative Extension, 165 Agriculture Drive, Kenansville, NC

Entry Details:

Fee: Free
What to Bring: One 750 ml bottle or two 375 ml bottles, corked and capped. No commercial or kit wines—use real fruit!
Categories: Muscadine Red, Muscadine White, Muscadine Blush, Blend/Fruit/Other

Judging: Wines are judged blind on color, clarity, bouquet, and flavor.

Prizes:
1st Place: 6 tickets to the 2025 NC Muscadine Festival + Blue Ribbon
2nd Place: 4 tickets + Red Ribbon
3rd Place: 2 tickets + White Ribbon

Winners will be displayed at the festival on September 28, 2024.
