People ask why we continue to go back to Disney- there is always something new and we get to do our favorites too! This past week, our trip included quite a few new things- riding the super cute Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the incredible new drone show at Disney Springs, fun new sniff and smell scavenger hunt- Smellephants on Parade- in the Magic Kingdom, and new snacks as well! We enjoyed taking Thomas and his girlfriend, Sam, to spend time together before they head off to college! Got to experience a Disney VIP tour thanks to the sweet invitation from some of our favorite Disney loving friends, Dominic and Melanie Cristelli. WOW! If you are thinking of trying this, you should! Front of every line, fun facts and history given throughout the tour and backstage private transportation with snacks from park to park. Our guide, Jimmy, was great! No backstage pictures can be taken but we loved looking all around!! The girls had a blast together all day and the adults are planning a return trip- this time with Barrett since he stayed with Thomas for their already reserved spring training games. SUCH a great Disney day!! Thank you Cristelli family!!

Who’s ready for a trip to Disney in 2024?? I can help you plan your trip to see the constantly changing parks- always new things to do and various deals throughout the year! Just this past trip, there were new things for all of us to experience – the “hat box ghost” made his way to the haunted mansion, the Moana walk-through water exhibit at Epcot as well as a brand new fireworks show at Epcot. My boys who had not been for a few months were able to ride Tron and guardians of Galaxy for the first time – so there is always something new and exciting to experience!

Two weeks ago today, we got home from an amazing week in the Playa Mujeres area of Mexico- we normally go for 4 or 5 nights as a quick getaway which is a great time to recharge and not be away too long. Who’s ready to see Disney at Christmas time? They do such a fantastic job of getting all the parks completely decorated and it really gets you into the Christmas spirit!

Best news is that Disney has released various discounts from October through December on select dates. And they are bringing back the amazing Christmas party at the magic kingdom- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party – while also introducing  a new Christmas party at Hollywood studios- Disney Jollywood nights! The parties will have different meet and greets than you normally get to do with specialty merchandise and food, some included and some to purchase!

Time flies, right?? So TAKE the TRIP and make the memories! This past week Ella and I had so much fun together at Disney. There are always new things to explore. Right now Disney is starting their new celebration of the 100 Years of Wonder with new events popping up throughout this year. Ella got to ride the new roller coaster at magic kingdom called Tron and we ate at a new restaurant in Hollywood studios that is toy story themed called a Round up Rodeo. This past week I attended some exciting training on Universal parks and resorts- did you know you can go to Orlando AND Hollywood?? Fun long weekend to Jamaica to check out the adults only Iberostar Grand Rose Hall- we were impressed with the property! Gorgeous beach and water! Beautiful property with an infinity pool, lazy river and well manicured landscaping. Yummy food- Including amazing Jamaican beef patties from the food truck on the beach! Need a quick getaway?? Quick weekend trip to say goodbye to Splash Mountain! And enjoy one of my favorite Epcot festivals- Festival of the Arts. Got my figment bucket this year 😊. The train is open again at Magic Kingdom after a few years so we enjoyed that too! AND we tried out the new Ducktales Scavenger hunt around the countries in Epcot- SO MUCH FUN! Disney and my travel agency, Storybook Dreams Travel, Presented me with an amazing opportunity last week to go to a Disney agent education program where I was able to check out some resort rooms with site visits, explore Disney products, have some classroom time and some special experiences so that I can stay on top of my game! I’m thankful for an informative, educational, and FUN learning time!

Epcot has always been right up there with Magic Kingdom for me- and I LOVE the festivals that are almost year round now. The Arts festival was super fun- new offerings for this year! We did animation classes, a spin art bike work and participated in a collective mural painting! Not to mention the artistic food presentations at all of the booths. 😊.
