New build…the day has finally arrived, we got our occupancy permit! And a new mail so we are legit!

Now that the major construction is done, it’s time for the finishing touches. We’ll be busy over the next couple of weeks sprucing things up as we get ready for our first guest.

Now accepting reservations starting in September. First weekend has already been booked!

Working on getting our listing set up on the booking sites, so in the meantime, DM me for reservations.

I’m excited to get rid of the piles of dirt and bring in some life and color! It’s going to be so fun working with this black cottage, the plants are going to pop!

I got a few plants in this weekend. Short break while I wait for the walkway, driveway and patio to be installed at the end of this week.

The guys are hooking up our rain water management garden planters today. Then they will do the final grade for the yard. Meanwhile, I’ve been hitting the nurseries collecting plants -can’t wait to start gardening!

Wouldn’t it be fun to hire a chef to come and make dinner one night while you’re on vacation? Guess we’ll just have to give that idea a test run once the cottage is finished just to make sure it’s a good idea 😉

Concrete day at Off The Chart Stays!

What’s the difference between concrete and cement? It was described to me like this…cement is to concrete like flour is to cake.
