Kihei Boat Ramp is another option for snorkel tours. This is a much smaller harbor than Maalaea, so only small vessels and ocean rafts depart from here.

Just learned the average hotel room on Maui is $573 per night.
At Ho'onanea you get more square footage, a fully stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, a bedroom separate from the living area, lanai and a host of other amenities for half the cost. Make it make sense.
