I’m a little late to the party this year, but The Scooby Shack is finally OPEN for reservations May through December.
Off-season repairs and improvements should be done by the end of April. New exterior color will be revealed soon, but here’s a sneak peek at our new porch furnishings. Come stay with us this summer!

Sweet Rosie & Finn asked me to give a BIG THANKS to their humans for driving them all the way from Illinois to OBX for an extra special Thanksgiving beach vacation 💕🐾

It was such a pleasure to host sweet Floyd and his humans last week 🥰 They unfortunately lost their Golden, Guthrie, a few days before their OBX vacation… but Amy and Josh were grateful to have a week to help their hearts heal by just spending this time together.
I’m so sorry for your loss and hope y’all took some happy memories home to add to the many you have of Guthrie 🐾💕

A love note AND presents 😍 Lauren and Michael stayed here last year and came back for what will hopefully continue to be an annual trip. They're not just great guests, they're truly lovely people. Lauren's crafty too... she made TWO signs for me. One is to keep here and the other is for my home.
