My kids went back to school today so I’ve had a chance to take a breather and reflect on 2023. Another year of planning magical vacations in the books and I’m more grateful than ever! Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that I'm still here and still helping families plan their magical Disney destination vacations. In favor of supporting my potential and existing clients through their planning process, my social media presence has taken a back seat the last few months. Additionally, this travel business is a "one-man show" and finding a healthy work/life balance can be hard when you have to do it all. Growth is an amazing thing for a small business, but can also create bumps along the way. SURPRISE! I’m in Disneyland!! As a top seller in my agency, I was invited to attend an Agent Education Program (AEP) here at Disneyland Resort! Disney is hosting us at the spectacular Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa while we partake in training, resort tours, and park time. I am honored to have been given this opportunity to learn and see more, so that I can continue providing the best service for my guests. Follow along as I explore the first theme park opened by The Walt Disney Company and the only one designed and constructed under the direct supervision of Walt Disney!

We’re headed to Animal Kingdom where we will begin our VIP Tour! Disney VIP Tour Guides wear an iconic plaid uniform, so a few of us in the agency got plaid headbands to coordinate for this special experience!

Taking full advantage of very low crowds during Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort Guests! Some of my favorite family memories were made during the late extra hours in the park when I was a kid. There’s something so special about being in Magic Kingdom late into the wee hours of the night, even in the rain!

Do you like to shop when you visit the parks? I’m not a huge merchandise buyer, but if you know me you know I love Lilly Pulitzer! The Disney Lilly print is vibrant and fun to wear while you’re here or at home!

There are lots of ways to get around Disney property, but my favorite is via the Disney Skyliner!

The Skyliner connects Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Disney resorts:

Staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been magical! This Deluxe resort offers many perks, but two that are high on my list are Dole Whips and gorgeous water views with the Magic Kingdom castle in the distance. The beach is a great place to catch the Happily Ever After fireworks!

I have many favorite Disney snacks, but one that I recently added to my list are the Spring Rolls at Magic Kingdom. You’ll find the Spring Roll cart right before the bridge into Adventureland on the right. The current flavors are Cheeseburger and Pastrami and Pepperjack. They come two to an order and I request one of each flavor. These are the perfect light lunch option or mid-day snack!

My favorite ride out of all four Disney World theme parks is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. It’s the first of its kind rollercoaster. There are also six rotating songs that play during your ride and it’s so fun to see which one you’ll get. Have you ridden it? If so, what song did you get?

On your next trip, you’re going to want to ride this multiple times, so be sure to join the Virtual Queue and purchase an Individual Lightning Lane at 7:00 a.m. on the day of your visit. You won’t regret it!

Good morning from Magic Kingdom! Over the next two days, I’ll be participating in an agency scavenger hunt, so I’ll be sharing lots of park favorites and random tips with you. First up, is my favorite beverage. Now, this one is tough because I have LOTS of favorite beverages, but one that holds true for every trip is Joffrey’s coffee! Visit the Joffrey’s Revive stand in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom on your next trip.

During my Agent Education Program last week, we had the opportunity to tour some of the recently refurbished resort rooms. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, perfect for families with little ones! These rooms, with a touch of the Incredibles, sleep up to 5 adults and some even have a view of Magic Kingdom!
