We tried a new restaurant last evening for dinner. Cumberland Jack’s has a great mountain cabin atmosphere and good food. We enjoyed several entrees but the absolute best was Fire in the Henhouse. Very, very good! If a restaurant only has one dessert, you just gotta try it. The Peanut Butter pie did not disappoint!

Here is a Restaurant to AVOID:

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A dozen violations were checked off by the inspector at a Sevier County grill that serves Japanese food.

The grade is a 76 at Nao Japanese Grill, at 3676 Parkway in Pigeon Forge. 76 is a passing score, but there were a lot of critical violations. A grade of 69 and below is considered failing.

The Artic Blast certainly brought its cold air to Gatlinburg. Luckily, we’ve not experienced any outages or broken pipes. Yesterday morning, the temp was 0 degrees when we woke up! But the snow on the treetops was beautiful!
